JAISALMER: A woman along with her lover and child committed suicide by jumping into a water tank in Barmer.
Police reached the spot on getting the information on Sunday and took out the bodies from the water tank.
In the probe, it came to light that the married woman was having love affair with cousin of her husband.
According to the information, Dungero Ka Tala village resident Devi (22), wife of Jagdish, her daughter Lalita (3) and Khemaram (22) on Saturday night jumped into a water tank.
Their family members searched for them and found their slippers outside the water tank. On peeping inside the tank, they found the bodies floating.
The man had put a status on WhatsApp in which all three were shown in a picture with a weeping emoji.
After the family members of the woman came, the bodies were taken out and kept at the district hospital mortuary. Jagdish, the husband of the woman works as labourer in Rajkot, Gujarat, while Khemaram works as a driver.
