ATM: Goons Flee With Atm Having ₹20l At Kotputli |

Jaipur: A Punjab National Bank ATM having approximately Rs 20 lakh was looted by Scorpio-borne criminals at Kotputli on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Miscreants came in a Scorpio looted the ATM in just five minutes as they tied the ATM to the vehicle and uprooted the machine. After pulling the machine out of the bank on road, the miscreants attempted to break open the cash box but, failing to do so, loaded the ATM into their vehicle and fled.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police set up check posts, but there are no clues about the criminals.
A police official said, “An ATM was installed near Krishna Talkies. On Saturday late night around 1.56am, a criminal, with his face covered, entered after spraying the CCTV camera to avoid being recorded. Although the entire incident was captured on another camera, at 1.57am, another criminal arrived with a belt and uprooted the ATM machine. After attempting for nearly two minutes to break open the cash box on the road, the criminals then loaded the ATM into the Scorpio.”
Police said that discussions with the bank manager have taken place regarding the incident. He stated that around Rs 25 lakh were loaded into the ATM on December 8.

The duo, who work as daily wage labourers, have 16 prior cheating cases against them. Police recovered 117 ATM cards from the accused.
