Murder Case: Mom, Lover Held For Murder Of Minor Boy | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Almost two years after the Bharatpur police had closed the investigation into the mysterious death of an eight-year-old boy, the truth finally came to light on Thursday after the police arrested the boy’s own mother and her paramour.
SP (Bharatpur) Mridul Kachawa revealed that Krishna Kant (24) and Hemlata (35), residents of the Rupbas area of the district, were arrested for the heinous offence that had remained a mystery for too long.
He said that the victim Golu in February 2021 stumbled upon his mother, Hemlata, in a compromising position with Kant in their own home. In a moment of confusion, the young boy promised to expose their secret to other family members.
Hemlata and Kant were desperate to maintain their secret relationship and the duo killed Golu with a mobile charger’s cable. A few days later, Golu’s father filed an FIR at the Rupbas police station in which he pleaded with cops to find his missing son as he had no idea of his wife’s sinister actions.
On February 18 of that year, the police made a harrowing discovery in the entire village after a team unearthed the body of Golu, buried beneath the sprawling vegetable farms.
But in an inexplicable turn of events, the district police, in December 2021, closed their investigation after their search for answers failed, and they could not weave the threads of the conspiracy to find suspects. The elusive suspects remained just out of reach. Then, about a month ago, Kachawa said that the police began drawing up a list of unsolved cases in the meeting and Golu’s case drew his interest.
