Gunjal: Former Cm To Address Rally In Kota Today | Jaipur News
Kota: Former chief minister and BJP’s national vice-president Vasundhara Raje will address a public rally organised by her supporter and ex-MLA Prahlad Gunjal, in Shambupura near the city on Sunday. However, no directions were given to BJP workers about the rally from the party’s state or local office, hinting at differences within the organisation. Bundi district forest department, on the other hand, lodged a case under Wildlife Protection Act against Gunjal and others for clearing the forest land for the rally without its permission.
Prahlad Gunjal, Rupesh Sharma and other Raje supporters have been working hard, holding public meetings and distributing ‘piley chawal (coloured rice)’ door-to-door to invite people for the rally.
Gunjal visited the Shambupura area on Saturday to oversee the preparations. “Two domes have been erected for seating over 1.5 lakh people, while another pandaal has been set up in place of the dome, which fell due to strong winds and rain,” Gunjal said while speaking to the media.
