Jaipur: Three people were killed and another injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and a pickup truckin Hanumangarh district, officials said. The incident occurred in the Gogamedi police station area late on Friday night. SHO Radheshyam said that Rajveer (38), Rajkumar (25) and Ramswaroop (38) died in the accident while Mangeram (45) sustained injuries in the accident.The bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem, he said, adding that the injured has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Tamil Nadu: 2 killed, 16 injured as luxury bus collides head-on with truck near Ulundurpet
A luxury bus and a container truck collided head-on near Ulundurpet in Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu, resulting in two deaths and 16 injuries. The luxury bus, carrying 27 passengers from Chennai to Aranthangi, lost control and hit the centre median before colliding with the truck carrying iron scrap. The driver of the bus, P Mani, and the truck driver, R Santhosh Kumar, were killed. The injured passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the incident.
