Health Dept Hires Staff On Urgent Temporary Basis | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Many posts of medical officers and paramedical staff are lying vacant. For filling such posts, the health department is recruiting the staff on urgent temporary basis. The department has made rules flexible for recruitment of medical officers and healthcare staff on urgent temporary basis. Around 5,500 medical officers and paramedical staff will be deployed on urgent temporary basis until the recruitment of permanent staff.
Additional chief secretary (health) Shubhra Singh said that it has been decided to fill the vacant posts of medical officers and paramedical staff in medical institutions through direct recruitment on urgent temporary basis. She said that for successful and smooth functioning of medical institutions, 500 vacant posts of medical officer and 5,000 posts of paramedical will be filled on urgent temporary basis following the prescribed procedure in order of approval received from the finance department, these posts will be filled soon.
Besides, orders have also been issued to retain the paramedical staff which was recruited on urgent temporary basis. The staff on urgent temporary basis was to be removed on June 30, but the health department has issued orders to retain the staff till December 31, 2023. The department is ensuring the availability of the healthcare staff in its hospitals and health centres.
