Hospital: Plans Afoot To Expand Hospital, Add Facilities |
Jaipur: The Satellite Hospital administration is preparing plans for its development and has sought funds, staff and construction of new buildings. The hospital has no scarcity of land as the building is surrounded by open space, and a lot of space is lying unused.
“We have doctors here, and we conduct surgeries such as eye surgeries and general surgeries. We have started taking measures for development of the hospital as a 150-bed facility. We need funds, staff and development of the existing, old building,” said Dr Anita Verma, director of the medical surgical unit.
The hospital currently uses funds from Rajasthan Medicare Relief Society (RMS) for sanitation and cleanliness. There has been a rise in footfall of patients over the past few months. “Monthly OPD registration now stands at around 16,000 patients, up from 8,000 to 9,000 in January,” said Dr Verma. “This indicates that patients’ expectations have gone up,” she added.
