Jaipur: Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has bagged the prestigious Golden Globe Awards in two categories in Malaysia on Tuesday. It has been awarded in the Best Environment Friendly Projects and Best Innovative Project of the Year category by the jury of the World HRD Council.
While the award for the Best Environment Friendly Projects category was given for the recently opened City Park in Mansarovar in Jaipur, it bagged the award in Best Innovative Project category for the Coaching Hub Project in Pratap Nagar.
“The continuous accolades show the commitment and hard work of the board towards the common people of Rajasthan. I would like to congratulate all the employees of boards and would like to thank the common people for their continuous support towards the board for this achievement,” Pawan Arora, the housing commissioner, said.
A team of engineers, led by chief engineer (I), KC Meena, received the award at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Center Hotel.
Sprawling over an area of 52-acres, the City Park was inaugurated by chief minister Ashok Gehlot on October 21, 2022. It is considered as the latest tourist attraction in Jaipur.
On the other hand, in the lines of Kota, RHB is constructing a Coaching Hub in Pratap Nagar, where coaching institutions would run its centres with residential facilities. Chief minster is expected to inaugurate its first phase in June.
