Bharatpur: 2 Held For Taking Commission From Conmen In Bharatpur | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Bharatpur’s Kaithwada police on Saturday arrested two persons for allowing criminals to transfer money through their bank accounts by charging a commission. Police have seized Rs 2,10,370 from their possession and a mobile phone.
According to police, accused Shahrukh and Sahil used to be in touch with the criminals of Mewat region.
“Many criminals of Mewat region are into online fraud through phishing and they don’t have bank accounts. After either hacking a bank account or its UPI ID, these criminals used to transfer the money to the accounts of Shahrukh and Sahil,” said an officer of Kaithwada police station.
“These criminals do not have any account number and neither they are interested in having a bank account. They get money transferred in the accounts of Shahrukh and Sahil and later give a commission to them for every withdrawal. Since the bank accounts of the two accused were used in cheating, they too have become accused of cheating,” the officer added.
