Illegal Liquor: Cid-cb Teams Bust Hooch Making Unit In Chittor, One Held | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The Crime Branch of Rajasthan police on Tuesday swooped down on a secret hooch manufacturing factory hidden within a farmhouse in Chittorgarh district.
ADG (Crime) Dinesh MN said that the police arrested one individual involved in making the illegal liquor and seized 34 cartons, along with 350 litres of spirit.
The police said that the CID-CB teams raided the factory which was operating in the Bhadesar police station area of the district.
The officials said that the accused, identified as Lal Singh, had established the illegal factory within his farm and was selling the illicit liquor in large quantities, both in Madhya Pradesh and for local consumption.
“The CID-CB teams have been intensifying their operations against suspects involved in the sale and smuggling of illegal liquor ahead of the elections. The teams are closely monitoring gangs engaged in this illicit trade,” Dinesh said.
