Inauguration Date: State Govt All Set To Inaugurate Partially Complete Constitution Club This Month | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The state government is all set to inaugurate the Constitution Club of Rajasthan in September, though partially.
Officials of the Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) – the nodal agency executing this project – stated that the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is yet confirm the final date of inauguration. However, inauguration will take place this month.
“The project is almost over. Work on the two floors of the building is complete. So, we will inaugurate the project this month and stakeholders can use the first two floors right away. Last minute work on the remaining floors will be completed soon,” said an RHB official.
An architect was appointed to prepare the design/concept of the club and it was presented before the cabinet sub-committee under the chairmanship of the Speaker on November 2, 2021.
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot had announced the construction of this club during his Budget speech of 2021-22. Like the Constitution Club in Delhi, this club will be for the members of the state assembly. The project is coming up on a 4,950 square feet land located on the eastern side of the Vidhayak Nagar. It will be replete with a tennis court, indoor games, cafeteria, restaurant, swimming pool, auditorium, meeting and conference halls and guest rooms will.
“Although the government with inaugurate it with work done on only two floors, it won’t have much effect. With the assembly elections round the corner, no MLAs will use this facility at least till December. We will finish the work by then,” an RHB official added.
