Indian Army: Army To Get 880 Bighas For Aviation Base In Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

JAISALMER: A new base of the aviation corps of the Indian Army would be set up soon near Netasi village in Ramgarh area of Jaisalmer near the international border. District collector Ashish Gupta said on Saturday that the state cabinet meeting had approved allottment of 880 bigahs of land.
The land will be allotted after the army deposits the money for it, Gupta said.
In this air base, a unit of fighter helicopters is likely to be deployed. The aviation Corps has a large fleet of fighter helicopters including Cheetah, Chetak, Dhruv, HCH, Rudra, etc. The aviation corps also has many unmanned air vehicles and drones.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) will raise the monetary threshold for defining large corporate borrowers from the previous limit of Rs 100 crore borrowed from banks. The new threshold will be announced soon. Sebi will also incentivize large corporates that use the debt market to replace bank loans and eliminate certain penalty clauses for non-compliance with Sebi guidelines.
