Institutes Of Fintech, Governance Cleared | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The draft of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences Bill, 2023, was was approved in the state Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. This will pave the way for the establishment of a university-level innovative institute related to governance and social sciences on a public-private partnership mode in Jaipur. The institute will provide degrees, diplomas and certificate courses, and will prove useful in research, teaching, training and capacity building.
The Cabinet also approved the Bill for the setting up of Rajiv Gandhi Fintech Digital Institute in Jodhpur. The institute will act as a finishing school with certificate courses and diploma courses in the digital and financial technology domain. The in-house incubation centre will facilitate future entrepreneurs to design and deploy fintech products. A fintech innovation ecosystem will also be developed to attract fintech industries, including startups, to increase job opportunities in the state.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to the Rajasthan State Forest Policy and the Climate Change Policy. This will facilitate systematic development and management of forests in the state which will encourage conservation of natural resources and generate employment opportunities.
The Climate Change Policy aims at preventing over-exploitation of natural resources and using them in a sustainable manner.
