Just days after announcing the Pixel Feature Drop and rollout of Gemini Nano AI model to Pixel 8 Pro smartphone, Google is back with its advertisement featuring its “best friend”, the iPhone15 Pro. These ads take subtle potshots at Apple and, at the same time, promote its features. This time, Pixel is ‘making fun’ of Apple for not having AI features.

iPhone, Pixel take ‘some time off’
After several launches in fall, which is basically the busiest season in the tech industry, iPhone 15 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro are enjoying snow after taking “some time off.” The iPhone then says that the Pixel is “working too hard”.
“Every time I turn around, you’re announcing one of your shiny new feature drops,” iPhone said, about the quarterly feature rollout by Google for its Pixel smartphones. “And you just became the first phone to get Google’s new Gemini AI model.”
At the launch of the Gemini model this week, Google announced that its most efficient AI model, Gemini Nano built for on-device tasks – will be coming to Pixel 8 Pro along with Feature Drop.
“Pretty cool though, right?” Pixel asks, and iPhone agrees saying that after fall launches, they should chill like their other buddies.

iPhone’s holiday wish list
In the previous video, Pixel highlighted its AI-powered features, including ‘Magic Editor for removing and rearranging stuff in photos’ and ‘Best Take or Audio Magic Eraser!’
The iPhone was shown making a list of AI features to ask Santa this Christmas.
“You were sooooo so so smart to ask for that stuff last year. But this year, the big man is gonna hook. Me. Up!,” iPhone says.
Pixel then corrects the iPhone that Santa didn’t give the phone any of that stuff but “a bunch of Google engineers” did.
