Jaipur: In a minor reshuffle in the police department, the state government late on Thursday evening transferred five IPS officers. The transfers included two additional director general (ADG) rank, one each of inspector general of police (IG) and a deputy inspector general of police (DIG) rank.
Sunil Dutt, ADG, technical services, will now take charge as the new ADG (rules) and Dr Prashakha Mathur, ADG (police re-organisation and rules) will take charge as ADG (re-organisation) Vikas Kumar, IG, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) will take charge as IG, Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC). Jagdish Chandra Sharma, DIG (security) will take charge as DIG (CID-CB). tnn
