Jaipur: The high court in its final order on REET eligibility for Grade-III teachers said that candidates who scored 82 marks in SC, SC, OBC, MBC, and EWS category be considered as REET qualified and be given the certificate. Minimum 55% marks are required for SC, ST, MBC, OBC and EWS categories which comes to 82.5 marks, but each question carries 1 mark. The petitioner said that like in other states the passing marks should be fixed at 82. The court allowed the plea. The court also directed that candidates who have been selected in the recruitment examination be issued pass certificate and given appointment. TNN
