Jaipur: Video shows suspended mayor’s husband ‘deal’ for Rs 20 crore with garbage collecting company | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: A video of Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Greater suspended mayor Somya Gurjar’s husband went viral on social media where he is allegedly dealing with an employee of garbage collecting company, for getting a share of Rs 20 crore from the amount cleared by the corporation.
As per the audio in the video, Raja Ram, husband of Somya Gurjar is dealing with the garbage collection company that when the amount of Rs 276 crore, due on the corporation is cleared then 10% of the amount i.e. around Rs 20 crore will be paid to Raja Ram.
In the video, Raja Ram was seen sitting in the middle of the room wearing a mask, and three company employees were sitting on the sofa.
A company employee is seen in the video, “Whenever our amount is cleared that will be around Rs 276 crore. We need to pay a penalty on that as well and after that we will pay you Rs 20 crore. Just get our payment passed within six months to one year and it will be done.”
Company employees switched off their mobile phones and Somya Gurjar didn’t respond to the continuous calls of TOI for a reaction.
