Jamwa Ramgarh constituency election result 2023: BJP’s Mahendra Pal Meena seals big-margin victory over Congress’s Gopal Lal Meena | Jaipur News

While BJP is cruising towards victory in Rajasthan, Mahendra Pal Meena of the BJP has emerged as the decisive winner in the Jamwa Ramgarh Assembly Constituency during the 2023 Assembly elections. According to the Election Commission, he secured victory with a substantial margin of 38,427 as he secured a total of 100,041 votes, surpassing Gopal Lal Meena of the INC, who garnered 61,614 votes.

The Jamwa Ramgarh Assembly constituency reflects a diverse demographic composition, with an estimated Scheduled Caste population of 15.73% and an estimated Scheduled Tribe population of 29.85%, as reported by the Delimitation Commission of 2008. The district’s estimated literacy level, encompassing this constituency, stands at 75.51%, according to the Census of India, 2011.
In the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, the Jamwa Ramgarh constituency had a total of 2,30,543 eligible electors, with 1,21,404 being male, 1,09,139 female, and additional registered voters belonging to the third gender category.

During the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Gopal Lal Meena of the INC secured victory in this seat, defeating Mahendra Pal Meena of the BJP by a margin of 21,684 votes, which accounted for 13.4% of the total votes cast for the seat. The INC held a vote share of 55.09% in this constituency in 2018.
In the 2023 elections, the electorate in Jamwa Ramgarh comprised a total of 2,30,543 eligible voters, with 1,21,404 males, 1,09,139 females, and voters registered as the third gender.
The gender ratio within the electorate in 2023 was 899 female voters for every 1,000 male voters.
