Jmc: Woman Accuses Jmc Of ‘fake’ Lease | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A city resident on Monday accused the JMC Greater (JMC-G) administration of corruption, saying the civic body issued a fake lease for her plot of land to another person. JMC-G denied the charge in the evening, saying none of its officials had signed on the purported lease.
The resident, Madhu Agarwal, told journalists that she had lodged a complaint with the municipal corporation after finding out that a man named Vikas Sharma had broken the boundary wall of her plot at C-Scheme and claimed ownership of her plot. She said a fake land lease was issued to Sharma by JMC-G and that she already has a land lease issued by Jaipur Development Authority (JDA).
JMC-G issued a statement saying, “The land lease submitted with the complaint in the name of Vikas Sharma is completely fake. There is no stamp of JMC-G or signature of any of its official on it. No fees were also taken by the corporation for this lease. The corporation has not issued any land lease to any Vikash Sharma. As per the records, the said land has a lease issued by JDA in the name of Shanti Devi, wife of Matadeen Agarwal.”
