Job Conclave: Govt To Hold Job Conclave In Jaipur In September | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The state government is planning to organise a two or three-day job conclave in Jaipur in the second half of September, before the model code of conduct (MCC) comes into effect in Rajasthan, a senior official said. The state will witness assembly polls at the end of this year.
Around 150 national and foreign companies will be invited for the conclave and about 10,000 jobs will be offered to the candidates. While the initiative for organising the conclave will be taken by the chief minister’s office (CMO), it will be implemented by the department of skill, employment, and entrepreneurship, the official added.
So far, over 56,000 jobs have been offered to candidates through mega job fairs in the state. As many as 4.68 lakh aspirants have registered themselves for 18 Rajasthan Mega Job Fairs. Of these, only 66,909 (14.2%) were female candidates. Of the total participation of 1.68 lakh aspirants, 1.45 lakh were male and 23,122 were female candidates, which is 13.7% of the total attendance.
In all, 56,208 candidates were considered for “Prathmik Chayanit” (selection) by the companies with salaries more than 1.2 lakh per annum. TNN
