Jobner: Boy Rescued From Borewell At Jobner | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Rescue teams safely pulled out a nine-year-old boy from a 200-foot deep borewell at Jobner near Jaipur on Saturday.
Akshat was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical check-up after he was rescued in an operation lasting seven hours. Joint teams of the State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF), National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF), and Civil Defence were pressed into service after he fell into the borewell in the village while playing.
“The boy had come to visit his uncle’s house in Bhojpura village. He was playing in a field near the house when he slipped deep into the borewell,” said an official, adding that his family members had been searching for him till they realized that he had fallen into the borewell. The family then informed the local police and the district administration. The rescue teams had provided oxygen supply to Akshat through a pipe.
