Cong Councillors Stir During Public Hearing By Jmc-greater Mayor | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Councillors from Congress in Malviya Nagar zone protested and raised slogans against the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Greater mayor on Tuesday during a public hearing.
The mayor had gone to the zone office for the public hearing when councillors raised ‘Go-Back’ slogans. The councillors were protesting against rising number of stray animals on roads, lack of cleanliness facilities.
Somya Gurjar, the mayor heard all the problems and instructed officials to take action immediately. She said that that the sweepers will work in two shifts and also instructed officials to get their signatures in the attendance register. She directed officials to form a central team for cleaning JLN Marg, roads near the assembly and other VIP routes.
The Mayor also instructed corpoation officials to make sure door-to-door waste collection takes place on a daily basis, repair road lights, solve problems of sewer line and change lines wherever necessary in different areas.
