Jaipur: The directorate of secondary education on Saturday asked the district education departments to ensure that a baseline survey is carried out for all children from class 3 to class 8 to address learning deficiencies in the children. The survey will be conducted from August 16 to 18.
An order was issued by the director of secondary education said, “In the first phase of the remediation process, the learning levels of children from class 3 to 8 needs to be understood through workbooks given to them. Baseline survey will not be conducted for students of class 1 and 2. Such students will use the workbooks provided to them for practise.”
The baseline survey is to be conducted for English, Hindi and Mathematics. Based on the survey, children will be divided into different groups to improve their learning abilities. TNN
