Karauli Violence: Main Accused Surrenders | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Five months after violence erupted during a bike rally in Karauli, one of the main accused in the case, Sahib Singh Gurjar, surrendered before police, raising hopes for the tracing and arrest of the absconding accused.
“Sahib Singh Gurjar appeared before the additional Superintendent of police, Krishna Chand Yadav, on Wednesday evening. He was wanted for inciting violence, arson and rioting. He was among the main organisers of the bike rally,” said a senior police officer of Karauli on Thursday. Forty people have so far been arrested for arson, violence, rioting and disturbing peace in this case, but many of the main accused, including Matloof Ahamed and Rajaram Gurjar, are yet to be arrested.
