Kataria: Speaker Joshi Congratulates Kataria On Getting Guv Post | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Gulabchand Kataria on Monday said he will discharge his new responsibilities as Assam governor while adhering to the constitutional limits. Kataria, who is the leader of Opposition, was congratulated on his new appointment in the Assembly on Monday.
As the proceedings began for the day, Speaker C P Joshi informed the House about Kataria’s new appointment.
“Gulabchand Kataria, the leader of the Opposition in the legislative assembly, has been nominated as governor. I convey my best wishes to him on behalf of the House, on my behalf, and on behalf of the people of Rajasthan, and hope that he will discharge his constitutional duties with the same traditions as he has been doing as a public representative,” Joshi said.
The Speaker said Kataria would be welcomed in the House as governor after he takes oath of his new office. Kataria expressed gratitude to all MLAs and said he would carry out his new duties within the constitutional limits.
