Kill Woman: Two Kill Woman, Set Her On Fire In Sriganganagar, Held | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Four days after the discovery of a 30-year-old woman’s half-charred body near an LPG cylinder warehouse in Sriganganagar’s Suratgarh area, the district police arrested two men, including a 60-year-old perpetrator. The police said that the accused have been idenitfied as Darshan Singh (60), and his relative Raj Kumar alias Raju (40).
During the investigation, the police learned that the victim had an illicit relationship with Singh. Singh felt pressured by the victim as she continuously demanded money from him.
Despite Singh paying her up to Rs 15 on multiple occasions, she kept threatening to implicate him in a false rape case. About eight days ago, Singh hatched a conspiracy with his brother-in-law Kumar to kill the woman so that she would never again blackmail him.
According to their plan, the accused called her to meet him on September 11 under an overbridge, on the pretext of giving her money. There, he killed her, poured petrol on her, and set her on fire to eliminate proof. The police teams found the body the next day and launched a major operation to track down the woman’s family, following which they arrested the two accused. tnn
