Kota Bandh: Markets Remain Shut | Jaipur News

Kota: Shops, various business establishments, private schools and coaching centres remained shut across Kota city on Saturday in support of a bandh called by Sarv Hindu Samaj and backed by various trade organizations to protest the murder of tailor Kanhiya Lal in Udaipur.
Thousands of men and women, including traders, public representatives and leaders of different political parties, took out a symbolic march from Dusshera ground to the divisional commissioner office at CAD Circle and submitted memorandum there demanding immediate hanging of the culprits and safety for the common man. Participants of the march held saffron flags and chanted slogans condemning the barbarous murder in Udaipur.
A demonstration was also held outside the commissioner’s office. MLAs Sandeep Sharma and Kalpna Devi, ex-MLAs Bhawani Singh Rajawat, Phralad Gunjal and Heeralal Nagar were among those present in it. TNN
