Kota: Jaipur Youth Drowns In Chambal | Jaipur News
KOTA: A 27-year-old man from Mansrowar in Jaipur drowned in Chambal river on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred while he was bathing at Bhirtiya Kund Ghat of the river under Dadabari police station area.
Divers from Kota Municipal Corporation recovered the body from the deep waters outside the iron net boundary for taking bath. The deceased identified as Maan Singh Hada had come to Kota with his younger brother, who was scheduled to sit for SSC exam here on Friday.
After the exam, the brothers went to the ghat for a bath around 4pm, circle inspector at Dadabari police station Rajesh Pathak said. While the two brothers were bathing, Singh reportedly slipped into deep waters, he added.
