Kota Police: Explosive Crackers Seized In Kota |

Kota: City police in a joint operation with CID crime branch carried out raids at various places in Anantpura, Borekheda, Jawahar Nagar and Gumanpura police station areas and seized huge quantity of explosive crackers worth crores of rupees, illegally stocked for sale and lodged a case under relevant sections against suppliers of the stock late on Friday evening.
“On the directions of Dinesh M N, additional director general of police, state crime branch, the city police and ASP Chandrasheel Thakur led CID crime branch carried out raids at four locations in Anantpura, Borekheda, Jawahar Nagar and Gumanpura police station areas and seized huge quantity of explosives, packed in cartoons which were worth crores of rupees,” said Kota city SP Sharad Choudhary.
Police lodged a case under relevant sections against suppliers of the stock, father-son duo Phralad Agrawal and Arvind Agrawal and their partner Mahesh Rathod, the police officer said.

Huge quantity of fake cumin, black pepper seized

Crime branch seize 4kg ganja, nab 2
Two peddlers were caught by the Nagpur crime branch with over 4kg of ganja. The police seized their two-wheeler, mobile phones, and cash. The arrest was made following a tip-off. The source of the ganja is being investigated. In recent incidents, police have seized large quantities of ganja in various states, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Delhi. The cultivation of cannabis in cotton and tur fields has also been discovered in Yavatmal district. The smuggling of ganja is a prevalent issue in the region, including the smuggling of contraband into prisons.
