Kota: Three Get Life Term For Killing Man Nine Years Ago In Kota | Jaipur News
Kota: An SC/ST court in Kota on Friday held three people guilty of murder committed nine years ago and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on each of the three convicts.
Sonu alias Tonu, 22, Babu alias Bajrang, 23, and Kailash, 22, all residents of Suket police station area, were handed the life term in jail for the murder of 22-year-old Gulshan of the same area in October 2014, said special public prosecutor Hitesh Jain. Gulshan was stoned to death for Rs 1,000 in Suket police station area, he added.
Jain said, Gulshan’s blood-stained body was recovered from the bank of Patli river on October 3, 2014, following which his father had lodged a murder case against the three the same day. Police booked the three men under Sections 302 and 34 of IPC and relevant sections of the SC/ST Act. tnn
