Kota: To Showcase Achievements, Min Plans Cabinet Meeting In Kota | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The upcoming cabinet meeting is likely to be convened in Kota. Urban development and housing (UDH) minister Shanti Dhariwal has proposed Kota as the location, aiming to highlight his accomplishments within his political stronghold.
The agenda includes the inauguration of a series of fresh projects, notably the esteemed Chambal riverfront venture. Additionally, the minister plans to leverage the event to introduce a range of new initiatives, to be announced in conjunction with the chief minister.
According to sources, Dhariwal, who is turning 80 in October this year, is not likely to contest the upcoming assembly election and he wanted to pass his baton to his son and end his innings with a grand show in Kota.
Dhariwal has transformed Kota into a seamless modern city under his watch. The city has become signal-less and congestion-free with bypasses and underpasses galore.
The Chambal riverfront built on the banks of the perennial Chambal constructed at a cost of Rs 1,200 crore soon to be inaugurated will be one of his major achievements. The contract for its operation and maintenance has also been signed. TNN
