Laptops: Deeg Cops Recover 186 Laptops Stolen From Gurugram | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A team of Deeg police recovered 186 laptops worth Rs 93 lakh which were stolen from an outlet at Gurugram (Haryana). Police have handed over the stolen laptops to the Haryana police and raids were underway to nab the thieves who managed to flee from where the laptops were recovered. The recovery was made on an intimation by the Gurugram police.

According to police, a few days ago burglars had stolen laptops from Khedki Daula area near Gurugram. Later the crime branch of Palam Vihar area in Gurugram started investigating the matter.
“In the investigation and through various inputs the Gurugram counterparts asked us to help in a raid of a house where the stolen laptops were concealed. A team also joined us from Gurugram on Wednesday. Finally, we raided a house and recovered the stolen laptops,” said Brijesh Jyoti Upadhayay, Deeg superintendent of police on Thursday.

He added that the team raided Gadhi Mewat area under Khoh police station area of Deeg. “We have recovered the laptops from the house that belongs to Gaffar Meo, who was not present at the time of the raid,” said Upadhayay.
After the recovery, the Deeg police handed over the laptops to the Gurugram police. “Gurugram police have also shared some inputs on the whereabouts of the absconding burglars. We will certainly help them to make the arrests in this case,” he added.
