Kota: In a heart wrenching incident, a 12-year-old boy died screaming as three stray dogs surrounded and attacked him while he was walking alone in Tikha Barda village, under Bundi Sadar police station, on Sunday morning.
The stray dogs bit off his flesh while he screamed for help and ran around to save himself, but no one came to his rescue. By the time his uncle and other villagers reached the spot and rushed him to district hospital, he was so severely wounded that doctors referred him to Kota. He succumbed on the way.
The boy, Mangilal Gurjar, a Class 5 student, was going from his home to the family’s farm when the dogs attacked him, duty officer at Bundi Sadar police station, Shyam Sunder, said.
Finding himself encircled by dogs, the boy reportedly ran around screaming, while the dogs hounded him. TNN
