Jaipur: The Achievers emerged as the champions of the second edition of the Leela Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Polo Cup at the Rajasthan Polo Ground here on Sunday.
In a thrilling summit clash, Achievers edged past The Leela Polo team 7-5. Four goals in the first few minutes of the final helped Achievers clinch the title.
Abhimanyu Pathak and Daniel Otamendi slammed 3 goals apiece to excel for the Achievers. Hurr Ali chipped in with a goal. For the Leela Polo team, Padmanabh Singh and Angad Kalan struck a couple of goals each but failed to stop the rampaging Achievers. Kuldeep Singh Rathore scored a goal.
Former Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar, Anuraag Bhatnagar, Ankur Gupta, Narendra Singh and Digvijay Singh were the chief guests and distributed the prizes. tnn
