Jaipur: The crime branch of Delhi Police on Monday issued notice to Lokesh Sharma, OSD to chief minister Ashok Gehlot, for questioning on October 10, a day before hearing in the phone tapping case involving Sharma scheduled at the Delhi high court.
Sharma was recently made co-chairman of Congress’s election war room in Rajasthan. He is also seeking a Congress ticket to contest the assembly elections from Bikaner district.
Delhi Police has asked Sharma to present himself at the crime branch’s office at Delhi’s Rohini at 11am on October 10.

A senior executive from a private firm in Delhi lost around Rs 5 lakh after being tricked by crooks posing as representatives of a courier company and the crime branch. The accused had the victim on Skype calls for around two hours, during which they convinced her to transfer funds from her account. The victim was told that the money was being temporarily attached.
