Lookout Notice Against Ritik Boxer For Orchestrating Shooting At Hotel | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Police have issued a lookout notice against notorious fugitive Ritik Boxer. DCP (East) Rajeev Pachar said the notice was issued on the basis of the accused’s personal details.
Ritik Thakurani (20), alias Ritik Boxer, is sought by Jaipur police for orchestrating the shooting at the Days Hotel on Tonk Road last Saturday for extortion of Rs 1 crore.
Moments after the firing, the accused posted online to own up to the shooting and also warned others. While police do not have all details of his passport, Pachar said based on details of his date of birth and description, a lookout notice was issued.
Police on Thursday also arrested his sister Lavina Thakurvani (24) for allegedly helping her brother by managing his social media accounts on her phone.
Boxer was first booked by Jaipur police in 2019 for thrashing and robbing a man of Rs 20,000. It was only last month that he began to scout for bigger targets. Police on Saturday booked Ritik for firing at Days Hotel, a few hours after he owned up to the shooting through a social media message.
In March last year, the accused was booked by Shipra Path police for allegedly attacking a man at the SFS intersection and vandalising his SUV after looting cash. “His activities were confined to beating people and robbing cash,” said an official.
The gangster is now wanted in a total of eight cases, but he managed to ward off police’s suspicions for a long time. It was after December 10, that the Rajasthan police found that Ritik was making a foray into organised crime. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was also issued on the information leading to his capture.
