Man Dies In Landmine Explosion In Barmer Dist | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: A 20-year-old man died, while another was injured in a landmine explosion while illegally mining in Chuli Dungari hill area of Chauhatan in Barmer district late Tuesday evening.
The seriously injured man was admitted to Chauhatan hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
According to police Hajariram, a resident of Chuli Dungari and Padmaram, a resident of Jatawas were illegally mining in the area by using landmines.
Chauhatan SHO Bhuttaram Vishnoi, Jola parishad member Roop Singh and local public representative reached the spot. The body has been kept at the Chauhatan hospital. Police are investigating the case.
