JAIPUR: A 52-year-old property dealer was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the house of his woman friend in Sanganer Sadar police station area on Monday morning. The woman friend, along with her three daughters, was also missing from her house, police said.
Police said that prima facie it appears to be a natural death, but they are not ruling out the possibility of murder.
According to the police, Kalu Ram had left his home on Sunday and when he did not return home, his family members began searching for him.
At 9am on Monday, a tenant in a nearby house saw the body of a man and informed the police. Police officers along with a forensics team rushed to the spot.
“Prima facie it appears to be a natural death. The body has been sent for postmortem. The main gate of the house was locked from outside and the woman and her three daughters were not at home when our team reached there,” said a senior officer.
Kala Ram was a frequent visitor to the house, police said. “He was seen at this house on Sunday noon,” the officer added. “No injury marks were found on the body.”
