Man Held From Bengaluru For Online Fraud Of Over ₹17l | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Solving an online fraud case in which cheaters had phished nearly Rs 17.63 lakh from three bank accounts, a team of cybercrime police station of Nagaur on Monday arrested one conman from Karnataka.
According to police, on February 6, one Susheela Devi of Medta City had lodged a case at the cyber crime police station stating that she got a message of withdrawal of money thrice from her current account of her firm.
“In the FIR, she stated that she got a message that money was debited thrice from her account on February 5 and the total amount in three transactions was nearly Rs 17.53 lakh. The woman informed the bank where authorities told about three debits from her account. After realising it was an online cheating, she approached us with an First Information Report,” said Ram Murty Joshi, superintendent of police, Nagaur. tnn
