JAIPUR: A 55-year-old man killed his wife by hitting her with an axe at Dasan Ki Dhani area under Udyog Nagar police station area of Sikar on Monday. As the man started hitting his wife his 13-year-old grandson was intimidated. Police have registered a case of murder against the accused who is on the run.
According to police, the incident took place around 2.30 am when the family members of the accused Hoshiyar Ram were sleeping in the house. “He got up and started hitting his wife identified as Guddi Devi (45) with an axe. There were injury marks on her face, eyes, nose and neck,” said Karan Sharma, superintendent of police, Sikar. The son o f the accused, Vinod lodged an FIR against his father.
