Man Stabbed To Death In Family Fight In City | Jaipur News
Vaishali Nagar police station SHO Heera Lal said the victim, identified as Sameer alias Ashraf, was transported to the SMS Hospital with a knife still lodged in his abdomen and that he succumbed to the injuries around 7:30am in the hospital. The main reason behind the dispute is a house located in Major Bane Singh Colony near Khatipura, he added.

“The house is owned by the victim’s grandfather, Ali Bakhsh. He had handed over the house to his son, Nawab, but changed his mind and decided to give it to his other sons and grandsons. This had sowed the seeds of discontent in the family,” said Lal.
The two sides of the family have filed nearly six FIRs against each other, not to count the numerous complaints sent to Vaishali Nagar police station, said Lal.
“The victim lived with his wife and two children in a small room in the same house. He asked his father, Nawab, to give him more space in the house, which sparked a dispute between father and son. While the victim’s brothers joined their father in the dispute, Sameer joined his uncle’s group to oppose his father,” said ACP (Vaishali Nagar) Alok Kumar Saini.
The two sides had had a fight on Tuesday evening. When Sameer was going out to buy milk on Wednesday morning, a fight broke out between him and Nawab. In he ensuing free-for-all, the family members attacked one another, and someone stabbed him with a knife, said Saini.
No one has been arrested in the case so far, he added.
