Man Threatens Doc For Refusing To Prescribe Celphos Pill, Arrested | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A 26-year-old man was arrested after he threatened a doctor who refused to give prescription for celphos pill in Dholpur on Friday.
Police are questioning the man if he was planning to commit suicide which is why he demanded a celphos pill from the doctor.
According to police, the incident took place on Friday when a man identified as Ramakant Jaatav arrived at the district hospital at 4 pm at its emergency ward. “When the on duty doctor asked him about his problem, the man asked the doctor to write celphos as prescription. The doctors told him that celphos is a poison. However, the man went into argument and asked the doctor to fulfil his demand. Also, the man started creating a scene when he brought out his mobile phone and started taking the videos,” said a senior police officer of Dholpur.
During the arguments and exchange of words the man also threatened the doctor to kill. Senior doctors at the emergency ward intimated the Kotwali police station of Dholpur and a team of police rushed to the spot. “We have arrested the man for disturbing peace and causing hinderance in the government work. He would be questioned to know why he wanted the doctor to prescribe him a celphos pill,” said an officer.
