Jaipur: BSP chief Mayawati, while addressing a public meeting in Gangapur on Sunday, blamed both BJP and Congress for depriving Dalits of their interests. She said both the parties only used them as “vote-banks” to shine in politics.
She also addressed a public meeting in Karauli. “These two parties have never thought about their interests, whereas BSP has ruled Uttar Pradesh four times by taking all communities along,” she said.
She appealed to people to vote for BSP candidates during the assembly elections in Rajasthan.“The central government and the Congress government in Rajasthan are working to spread propaganda. But people will not be misled by them,” she further added.

BJP national president JP Nadda urged voters in Rajasthan to vote against Ashok Gehlot and prevent him from coming to power again. Home voting: Over 12,000 elderly and disabled voters cast votes for Rajasthan assembly polls
Over 12,000 elderly and disabled voters in Rajasthan have cast their votes from home in the first phase of the state’s assembly elections. The Election Commission has sent special polling teams to record the votes of people aged above 80 and those with disabilities using postal ballots. In total, 62,927 voters have applied for the home voting facility. Voting will continue at homes through postal ballots until November 19, with special teams visiting those who were not home during the first phase on November 20 and 21.
