Ambulance attached to Dausa district hospital in Rajasthan transports shoes, video goes viral | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A video of an ambulance attached to Dausa district hospital went viral after it was seen transporting footwear.
The hospital has taken action against the staff involved in it and initiated an inquiry. “We have removed the driver and also constituted a three-member committee to investigate into it,” Dr Shivram Meena, principal medical officer, Dausa district hospital told TOI.
The ambulance was provided from MLA fund and attached to the district hospital. The staff of the ambulance was arranged by an NGO.
“In initial investigation, we came to know that the ambulance had gone to Jaipur for repairs for the past two-three days. But, it has been found that it was being used for transporting footwear,” said Dr Meena.
