JAIPUR: The All Rajasthan State Employees United Federation on Sunday announced a two-month long programme for a statewide protest against delay in fulfilling the demands of the employees including implementation of the 7th pay commission, time-bound selection grade, withdrawal of the government’s order to deduct salaries of the government employees, regularisation of contractual employees, filling vacant posts in all departments and implementation of the old pension scheme.
The representatives of the federation will submit a memorandum listing their demands to the chief secretary on September 13; memoranda addressing CM Ashok Gehlot and chief secretary Niranjan Arya to be submitted to the district collectors on September 15; ‘protest day’ to be organised at the state and district level against the formation of Khemraj committee; organize preparatory meetings by district branches from October 1 to 15 to make the agitation successful.
“The ministers and heads of departments are not fulfilling the demands of the employees as per the circular issued by the government (on May 28) following the approval of the CM and is trying to mislead the employees again. Instead of making public the report of the Samant committee, a new committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Retd IAS Khemraj Choudhary. The federation strongly opposes the formation of this committee,” said state convener of the federation Mahaveer Prasad Sharma.
