Ministerial Employees Send 20k Post Cards To Cm | Jaipur News

Jaipur: More than 50,000 ministerial employees, who have been on mass leave since April 10 over the state government’s delay in fulfilling their demands, attended their ongoing mahapadav at Mansarovar on its 15th day on International Labour Day on Monday. They also wrote more than 20,000 postcards to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to draw his attention to their demands.
Rajasthan State Ministerial Employees Federation (RSMEF) would organise a blood donation camp at the mahapadav site on May 3 to mark Gehlot’s 72nd birthday and wish him a long life, said federation’s president Raj Singh Choudhary.
The ministerial employees have been demanding pay equal to that of the secretariat staff and employees recruited through Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Their other demands include restoration of pay scale to Rs 9,840, one-time relaxation in promotional posts up to grade pay of Rs 6,000, issuance of notification for recruitment to posts of the panchayati raj department, and issuance of orders for transfers in the panchayati raj department.
