MLAs: Bjp Mlas From Other States To Have A Say In Raj Ticket Allotments | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Over 200 BJP MLAs from various states will start their six-day tour of Rajasthan covering one assembly seat each to assess the party’s position.
The MLAs have arrived from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. They will submit their combined report to the party’s national president JP Nadda on August 27. The move is seen as a final exercise before the party starts screening the candidates and preparing the manifesto for the polls.
“These MLAs will meet elected representatives of the party, ticket seekers, beneficiaries of the union government scheme, party workers, influencers and the public. They will stay for six days as an independent observer and will prepare a report on the assembly segment,” said Laxmikant Bhardwaj, spokesperson of BJP. These MLAs have started arriving in Jaipur since Saturday. They were given a brief on the assembly segment.
“They will start their stay from Monday,” added Bhardwaj. Sources told TOI that keeping in view the assembly polls this year, the party is carrying out this exercise. “The MLAs have been trained to identify the problem in each constituency and assess the winnability of ticket seekers. The report would be prepared on over 50 subjects and will give an idea about the assembly segments,” said a source.
