Municipal Corporation: Jmc-h Mayor Pulls Up Officials After Inspection Of Gardens | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The mayor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC)-Heritage, Munesh Gurjar, pulled up officials on Tuesday, during an inspection after finding poor work at Jai Niwas Garden despite timely payments being made to the contractor.
Gurjar said, “There is dirt everywhere, fountains are broken, floor tiles are not fixed. Why is the situation like this even after giving an adequate budget for maintenance work? Are officials sitting in the corporation only to get bills passed?”
The mayor instructed officials to blacklist the contractor immediately and a two-member committee was formed, who have been instructed to submit a report within 10 days.
She also inspected markets in the Walled City and found inadequate cleanliness arrangements. She also spoke to vegetable vendors and urged them to stop encroachments on roads.
‘Negligence in cleanliness of city won’t be tolerated’: A day after taking charge, JMC-Greater commissioner,Babu Lal Goyal held a review meeting with all officials on Tuesday and took feedback about the schemes, works and campaigns of the corporation.
