Neighbour: Kardhani Case Solved, Neighbour Hired Killer | Jaipur News

Initially, the incident was treated as an accident, as the victim, identified as Ashish Kumawat, was found dead alongside his bike. However, after an X-ray was performed on his body, it revealed a bullet lodged in his stomach.
The murder was committed by his neighbour, Ramesh Marwal, who hired killers due to a long-standing dispute over parking and gates blocking entry to the victim’s plot.
Police said that Marwal and the victim shared a common wall, and the accused had set up an idol factory on his plot. The accused gate was 13 feet wide, and whenever it was opened, it blocked the victim’s house entry. This dispute had led to numerous conflicts between the two parties, with a case also registered at Vaishali Nagar police station.
Additional DCP Ram Singh said, “During the post-mortem, a 7.45 mm bullet was found in the body of the deceased. Following this discovery, his neighbour was interrogated. A list of people who had contact with Marwal was compiled, and upon investigating each one, it was revealed that Kunj Bihari, alias Tufan, a resident of Nawa, Nagaur, had been in constant touch with the accused.”
Police found that Tufan had been in Jaipur a day before the event. Based on this, the team brought him to Jaipur for interrogation. “It was revealed that Tufan had been visiting Ramesh Marwal’s house for an extended period. Kumawat was unemployed and had been borrowing money from Marwal. So far, he had borrowed approximately Rs 2 lakh but due to unemployment he was unable to repay it. For the last six months, Marwal had been pressuring him to kill Kumar,” said police.
