Netflix: List Not Out, But Aspirants File Nominations In Kota | Jaipur News

Kota: The city witnessed candidates from BJP and Congress thronging with their supporters to the collectorate office to file nomination on Saturday, a day before the last date of filing nomination on Monday. Those who filed nomination included BJP’s candidate from Ladpura assembly seat Kalpna Devi, BJP’s Prahlad Gunjal from Kota (north) and Congress’ Rakhi Gautam from Kota (south).However, Gunjal and Gautam have not yet been declared official candidates by their respective parties, yet they claimed to have filed nominations on party’s direction.
Kalpna Devi, accompanied by her husband Ijayraj Singh, former MP, and party workers reached Kota Collectorate and filed her nomination.
“Party workers were filled with enthusiasm and their enthusiasm gives me courage and with the same enthusiasm and affection, I filed the nomination today,” said Kalpna Devi after filing her nomination.
“We were in the opposition in the last five years and we saw that politics of appeasement was done, work of BJP MLA was not done but this time we are fully confident that BJP will form the government in the state. I will try my best to complete all the developmental works,” she said.
On the direction of the party’s top leadership, he filed nomination, Gunjal said, while speaking to the media after filing nomination and added corruption was the biggest issue in this election.
“I received direction from the party and it was an auspicious day on Saturday so I filed the nomination. I will come back with the party symbol on Monday,” Rakhi Gautam said.
Meanwhile, Naimuddin Guddu filed nomination as Congress candidate from Ladpur, though his name has not figured in the list so far.

A total of 2,489 candidates submitted 2,811 nomination papers for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls. The last day for nominations saw 121 candidates from Bhopal filing their papers. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and incumbent Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan also filed their nominations. In total, 3,832 candidates have filed 4,359 nomination papers from October 21 to October 30. The state is set to hold elections on November 17, and the counting of votes will take place on December 3.
